Our Work So Far

HyOrc’s  Growth Strategy is anchored by three core revenue pillars

Green Methanol Production

HyOrc converts Municipal Waste in the form of Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) and other waste materials into green methanol, a clean, versatile fuel increasingly used in shipping, aviation, and industry.

Porto, Portugal (400 TPD Methanol Production)

Currently in permitting and on-site preparation for first 8 TPD Methanol production.

Pipeline Expansion

Front-end designs completed and will be reused to accelerate deployment across additional European ports.

Market Impact

HyOrc aims to establish methanol hubs across UK, Germany, Spain and Portugal – supporting the shipping industry’s compliance with IOM 2030 emission goals

Scunthorpe, UK (80 TPD Methanol Production)

Advancing through design and engineering

Gas Engine Solutions

HyOrc’s containerized power systems deliver clean, continuous, and multi-fuel power for industrial and remote applications

Market Impact

HyOrc engines operate on hydrogen, methanol, natural gas, LPG, syngas or mixed fuels, ensuring operational flexibility even in fuel scarce environments.

Target Markets

Off-grid energy users, data centers, industrial plants, cold storage, and island power systems.

Hydrogen Locomotive Retrofits

HyOrc’s hydrogen-capable powertrain is redefining rail decarbonization by enabling cost effective retrofits of existing diesel locomotives

Technology

Uses HyOrc’s patented hydrogen external combustion system coupled with an ORC turbine for high efficiency and zero emissions.

Commercial Activity

Pilot projects in India, the EU, and the UK.
LOI signed with for advanced hydrogen storage systems to extend locomotive range.

Market Potential

With retrofit costs of ~$2M per locomotive and an addressable base of 90,000 diesel locomotives across key markets, this represents a multi-billion-dollar opportunity
