Chairman
James McNaught-Davis
A seasoned private equity professional and venture capital specialist with an investment banking background in several prominent firms including Warburg Pincus, Advent, WHEB, Schroders, and Merrill Lynch.
James has decades of financial markets experience, of which 15 years was gained directly in the energy industry.
James holds an MA (honours) degree from Cambridge University and an MBA from Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania).
Non-Executive Director
Shinichi Hirano
A 30 year veteran in the field of hydrogen propulsion systems, Shinichi brings decades of expertise to SRE, including years in a leadership role at the Ford Motor Company, Mazda Motor Corporation, and Hyzon Motors where he led various projects focused on hydrogen propulsion for the automotive sector.
Shinichi also led the Ford-Daimler fuel cell alliance, and USDRIVE/USCAR Fuel Cell Teams in partnership with the US Department of Energy.

Manoharan Sundaralingam
Manoharan, our Head of R&D, is a visionary in the realm of renewable energy innovation. With a brilliant mind and relentless dedication, he has spearheaded groundbreaking advancements across multiple domains.
Mano’s pioneering work encompasses transformative breakthroughs crucial for transitioning towards greener fuel alternatives. Furthermore, his ingenuity extends to the aerospace industry, where he has played a pivotal role in the advancement of jet engine technologies in India.

Reginald Fubara
Reginald is the driving force behind the company’s remarkable journey. Under his leadership, we have evolved into a pioneering firm with a strong portfolio of power plant assets and game-changing hydrogen engine technology.
Reginald is an experienced tech startup entrepreneur with experience in software and power plant construction. His dedicated pursuit of innovation has helped position us at the forefront of the industry, poised to disrupt the heavy-duty truck sector with our revolutionary advancements.
Non-Executive Director
Richard Oblath
Richard Oblath is a global advisor specializing in energy transition, strategy, and corporate transformation. He chairs H2Transition Capital, is a Non-Executive Director at Firmus Energy, and has led over 50 M&A transactions worth up to $10 billion across multiple regions.
With leadership roles at Shell and Goodyear, he has extensive experience in managing businesses, JVs, and technology groups. A Fellow of the Energy Institute, he also supports education through Nottingham University scholarships and previously chaired the London Chamber Orchestra Trust.
